I enjoyed playing caravaneer 2 A LOT. but the combat system is quite.. off. I mean, when you need to move more than 40 guys one at a time and wait that the whole opponent party makes his move.. one battle can last forever, then the game crashes and you've wasted a whole lot of time.
Play Caravaneer game at Games of Honor: Caravaneer now has an official page: caravaneer.gamesofhonor.com This is a complicated RPG game, where you need to take care of economical issues, follow the story and fight the bad guys. 2,360 likes 7 talking about this. There were some technical difficulties on Games of Honor website that would prevent people from creating new.
I would like to know if there are games that are more or less like caravaneer 2 but a little better.
Features I loved in this game, and would like to have:
- prices make sense. Low where it's produced, high where it's used, the more you sell the less you profit per product, the more citizens in town the more can you sell before saturating the market, and basically the whole economy system that makes sense.

- Slow progression. You need to earn money the right way, slowly grinding your way to a true caravan (must not be a caravan though, fleet or whatever else is ok).
- You can imprison and recruit from enemies, which in turn aren't anything else but people like you (not godly bosses), just with better stats.

- Best way to make money is through 'legal' ways, not pillaging enemies. Raise industries in towns, enslave people, hunt for bounties or just deal with goods.
What I didn't like:
Caravaneer 3
- combat system.

-graphic. I would like something 3D-ish, more or less.
Anything is fine, space, pirates (i like those games too), rouge-like, fantasy worlds, hack and slash.. any genre as long as the economy system is fine-tuned and the best way to make money is not killing slimes (the merchanting part must be the way to make money, or producing stuff and so, not moster hunting anf the likes)
What I played and didn't exactly meet the expectations:
Kenshi (it has the same slow progression, a way better combat system, and with mods can be recruited from enemies, but the economy is so bad.. soooo baaaad!)
Banished, RimWorld (it's a bunch of gestional games, not RPGs)
Basically, I never found a game that has an economic system so well polished like the one in caravaneer 2, but I would like the game to have a better fighting system and.. that's it..
Please help!
